Vignan University Admission 2018

The Vignan university offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme at the undergraduate level. The university provides 15 specializations to the B.Tech Students. The duration of each of the specializations is four years. The Students having 60% in Diploma or equivalent exam from a recognized university are eligible for admission.

Students interested in B.Tech need to appear Vignan’s Scholastic Aptitude Test (V-SAT), which is a computer-based all India test organized by the Vignan University. Selection is made entirely on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test.

Himachal Pradesh Technical University Admission 2018

Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree with nine different specializations. Duration of all the B.Tech courses is four years. The college also accepts lateral entry (direct admission in the second year) in all the B.Tech courses for which the duration is 3 years.

The admission to the first 50% of the seats shall be made on the basis of merit/rank/score obtained in Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2018. Application for JEE can be made at the website

The remaining 50% seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test- 2018 (HPCET-2018)

The admission to B.Tech 2nd year degree course under Lateral Entry Scheme shall be made on the basis of merit of diploma in appropriate branch organized by H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board. Provided that if seats under lateral entry scheme remain vacant, the same shall be filled up from the students who have passed diploma in appropriate branch of  Engineering and Technology from any other recognized University/Board

Relaxation of 5% will be given to the applicants belonging to SC & ST category

Online Exam Form of HPTU

The application form of HPCET 2018 was available from March 8 to April 28. The last date for receiving the scanned copy of the application form (PDF) at email id- himtuadmission@gmail.com was May 1, 2018. It was advised that all students have to submit their valid information as per the documents possessed by them. The incomplete or invalid application form will be liable for rejection. The given steps can be followed by the students to fill and submit HPCET 2018 application form.

• All Students have to apply online. The Information Brochure for HPCET-2018 can be downloaded from the University website 
• The applicants are required to pay the Entrance Examination Fee through the following mode:- (i) Net banking /Credit card/Debit card (ii) e-Challan mode
• Entrance Examination Fee (Non-refundable) for HPCET-2018 is Rs.1400/- for SC/ST/BPL and Rs.1550/- for others 
• The Students can apply for two entrance tests i.e B.Tech & B.Pharma( Allo.) or B.Pharma (Allo.) & B.Pharma( Ayur.) simultaneously and have to pay a double processing fee

The Institute offers B.Tech / B.Ed. / B.A. / B.B.A / B.Com. / B.Sc. at the UG level and MBA/ M.C.A /M.Tech / M.A. / M.Com. and M.Sc. at the PG level. At the UG level, the Institute offers four specializations in B.Tech and B.Sc whereas at the PG level the institute offers four specializations in MBA, thirteen specializations in M.Sc. and two specializations in M.Tech.  

Adikavi Nannaya University UG Admission

Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) offers B.Tech / B.Ed. / B.A. / B.B.A / B.Com. / B.Sc. at the UG level. Admission to the courses is on the basis of marks acquired by a candidate in 12th (10+2)  or equivalent.

• B.Tech  –  12th (10+2) in Science stream with minimum 50% marks
• For B.Tech program, selection will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in JEE Main, WBJEE, COMEDK, SRMJEEE entrance exam.

Candidates applying to B.Ed. program must have a B.A. / B.Com/ B.Sc. degree from a recognized University/ Institute. Selection to the program is based on the marks secured in EDCET exam.

Adikavi Nannaya University PG Admission

Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) offers MBA / M.C.A / M.Tech / M.A. / M.Com. and M.Sc. at the PG level. Candidates applying to these courses must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant branch from a recognized University / Institute.

• Selection to MBA and M.C.A course will be through ICET exam.
• Selection to M.A / M.Sc. / M.Com. the program will be based on marks secured in AKNUCET exam.
